【摘要】:ThecolordisplayedonaVDUisanimportantaspectofthereproductionofcoloredimages.TheVDUisoftenusedasthedesign,edit,andapprovalmedium.Imagesareplacedintothecomputerbysomesortofcapturedevice,suchasacameraorscanner,modifiedbythecomputeroperator,andsentontoaprinterorcolorseparationgenerator,oreventoapaintdispenserortextiledyer.Thecolorofthefinalproductistohavesomewell-definedrelationshiptotheoriginal.Themostcommonmediumforestablishingtherelationshipbetweeninput,edit,andoutputcolor(device-independentcolorspace)istheCIEtristimulusspace.ThisguideidentifiestheproceduresforderivingamodelthatrelatesthedigitalcomputersettingsofaVDUtotheCIEtristimulusvaluesofthecoloredlightemittedbytheprimaries.1.1Thisguideisintendedforuseinestablishingtheoperatingcharacteristicsofavisualdisplayunit(VDU),suchasacathoderaytube(CRT).Thosecharacteristicsdefinetherelationshipbetweenthedigitalinformationsuppliedbyacomputer,whichdefinesanimage,andtheresultingspectralradiantexitanceandCIEtristimulusvalues.Themathematicaldescriptionofthisrelationshipcanbeusedtoprovideanearbydevice-independentmodelfortheaccuratedisplayofcolorandcoloredimagesontheVDU.TheCIEtristimulusvaluesreferredtoherearethosecalculatedfromtheCIE19312x00B0;standardcolorimetric(photopic)observer.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
