【摘要】:Significance8212;Theincreaseduseofgeomembranesasbarriermaterialstorestrictfluidmigrationfromonelocationtoanotherinvariousapplications,andthevarioustypesofseamingmethodsusedinjoininggeomembranesheets,hascreatedaneedtostandardizetestsbywhichthevariousseamscanbecomparedandthequalityoftheseamsystemscanbeevaluated.Thistestmethodisintendedtomeetsuchaneed.Use8212;Acceleratedseamtestprovidesinformationastothestatusofthefieldseam.Dataobtainedbythistestmethodshouldbeusedwithsite-specificcontractplans,specificationandCQC/CQAdocuments.Thistestmethodisusefulforspecificationtestingandforcomparativepurposes,butdoesnotnecessarilymeasuretheultimatestrengththattheseammayacquire.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanaccelerated,destructivetestmethodforgeomembranesinageotechnicalapplication.1.2Thistestisapplicabletofieldfabricatedgeomembranesthatarescrimreinforcedornonreinforced.1.3Thistestmethodisapplicableforfieldseamingprocessesthatuseachemicalfusionagentorbodiedchemicalfusionagent,astheseamingmechanism.1.4Subsequentdecisionsastoseamacceptancecriteriaaremadeaccordingtothesite-specificcontractplans,specificationandCQC/CQAdocuments.1.5Thevaluesstatedinbothinch-poundandSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6HazardousMaterials--AlwaysconsulttheproperMaterialSafetyDataSheetsforanyHazardousmaterialsusedforproperventilationandprotection.Theuseoftheoveninthistestmethodmayacceleratefumeproductionfromthetestspecimen.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicableofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
