【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverswhitereinforcednon-vulcanizedpolymericsheetmadefrompolyisobutylene(PIB)intendedforuseasasingle-plyroofmembraneexposedtotheweather.Thesheetshallbereinforcedwithfiberorfabric.1.1.1Thepolymersusedinthesesheetshavethermoplasticcharacteristicsattimeofinstallation.1.2Thetestsandpropertylimitsusedtocharacterizethesesheetsareminimumvalues.1.2.1In-placeroofsystemsdesigncriteriasuchasfireresistance,fieldseamingstrength,impact/punctureresistance,materialcompatibility,andupliftresistance,amongothers,arefactorsthatmustbeconsidered,butarebeyondthescopeofthisspecification.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainstothetestmethodsportiononly,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
