【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletoinstalledmonitorsforthecontrolanddetectionofradioactivityofgammaemitterscontainedinrecyclableornon-recyclablematerialwastetobetransportedbyvehicles.Thisstandardisdesignedtoprovidethepurchaserwithanindicationoftheperformanceoftheequipmentindetectingradioactivesourcesleftinthematerialbeingmonitored,andnottomeasurequantity.Thisstandarddoesnotapplytohand-heldequipment.Itisnotapplicabletothemonitoringofmaterialsonconveyors,ingrabsorbeingmovedbyelectromagnets.Thisstandardisnotintendedforthemonitoringofradioactivewasteordetectionoffissilematerials.Theobjectofthisstandardistodefineaninstalledmonitorforthecontrolanddetectionofradioactivityofgammaemitterscontainedinrecyclableornon-recyclablematerialstransportedbyvehicle,theconceptualrequirements,generalcharacteristics,mechanicalcharacteristics,environmentalconditions,minimalrequirements,testproceduresanddocumentation.Theselectionofthelocationoftheinstrumentationonthesiteneedstobeoptimisedtoachievethebestperformanceofmeasurement,butthisisbeyondthescopeofthisstandard.Thegammaradiationdetectedbythesemonitorsmaybeemittedbyoneorseveraldiscreteradioactivesourcesincludedintheloading,orbythepresenceofradioactivematerialinthevehiclebeingmonitored.Thesemonitorsaretobeusedoutdoors.Theradiationsdetectedaregammaemissionsofenergyatleastfrom50keVto1500keV.Itisadvantageousiftheequipmentcangivetheapproximatelocationofaradioactivesourcebutthisisnotamandatoryrequirementofthisstandard.Conformancewiththerequirementsofthisstandardisnoguaranteethataradioactivesourcewillalwaysbediscovered.Theshieldingofthehigh-densitymaterialswillmeanradioactivesubstancesburieddeepinthematerialcouldbemissed.
