【摘要】:1.1Thesepracticescoverthepackaging,marking,andloadingofsteelproductsforshipment.Assumingproperhandlingintransit,thepracticesareintendedtodelivertheproductstotheirdestinationingoodcondition.Itisalsointendedthattheserecommendationsbeusedasguidesforattaininguniformity,simplicity,adequacy,andeconomyintheshipmentofsteelproducts.1.2Thesepracticescoversemi-finishedsteelproducts,bars,bar-sizeshapesandsheetpiling,rods,wireandwireproducts,tubularproducts,plates,sheets,andstrips,tinmillproducts,andcastings.Aglossaryofpackaging,marking,andloadingtermsisalsoincluded.1.3Thepracticesarepresentedinthefollowingsequence:1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
